A few days ago I launched GIMP and I see don't this have this Layer Tool thing which shows all the layers.

Anybody knows how I can make it re-appear?

For layers in GIMP,
In the main window, click the tab called windows up the top and then click dockable dialogs and then click layers. Alternatively you can try the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl+L".
