Okay. I downloaded a .zip, and scanned it, as always. It said it was safe. But when I played the game, it started freezing a few seconds in. So I was like, "Fuck this" and proceeded to deleting the folder. But the thing is, one of the files won't be deleted. It's called djpeg and can't be deleted. I am on my administrator account. But it says, "access denied". I've even tried putting it into a .rar archive, but there is an error. Any suggestions on how to delete it? (Other than deleting the account)

Well, I've scanned it with two different Anti-Viruses. Nothing.

But when I think I'm getting a virus, I just make a new account as an administrator and make the current administrator a standard account so that it can't ruin my Computer.

You could have a dreaded rootkit.

I'd recommend booting into a secure environment (knoppix or WinPE) and getting it checked out.

Reformat.

Back up whats important and trash all the rest.

I'm surprised noone suggested SAFE MODE.
reboot F8 (on most bios) safe mode, user = administrator pass = none navigate to fubar file. baleet. suffering ended. Also antivirus can't detect new viruses that aren't in large scale circulation.
