I suppose the op is talking about a file sharing site and not an image hosting site... If that's the case, I suggest mediafire. Max file size limit is 200Mb but you can upload the file in parts if it is bigger than 200mb.

www.filesmelt.com can host any image you throw at it, and any other file types.

Here is a cucumber for good measure hosted on filesmelt , and underneath it is a gigantice 17+ mb image link using filesmelt

As to how long the hosted content stays hosted, I don't know, but filesmelt is a good way to share large images and your files
