So one day on toribash i was just chilling and i entered a server and there was this guy there and when he said something his name was orange. Then i found it he was a gm or whatever, so how do people in toribash be able to be one?

I think every year(s) they make a thread where you apply, if you get accepted, you become a Trail GM. If you're good, you become a full gm.

Pretty much of PTDx said, except it isn't at a certain date like once a year or whatever. They open applications whenever they need more Gm's, for example.
Then they pick from the lot.

You can pm a GM and apply at any time, although when a application thread is open it raises your chances slightly.

Same with local mod or pretty much any staff placement. You can apply at any time but you have a better chance if you apply during a recruitment period.

Just to clarify. Usually orange names mean UniTeam member (or trial GM(represented by a %). The red name is for full GMs (smods, admins, etc.(represented by a ~)).

PM an admin ( Red name ) With your application for said staff position.
They'll probably post it at the place where it needs to be.

There is no format. They might throw in what they're looking for when they open recruiting and make a thread about that, though it's pretty much just freeform.
