My weird little theory/observation
I'm not sure if this is the right board to post this thread in but due to all of the philosophical debates that I've seen in this board I think the people who regularly post here can help me with this.

Now I'm not sure if this has actually been said before but I've been thinking about this weird theory/observation (I don't know what to call it) I came across. I kinda came across it when I was younger but I could never put it into words. I just understood what it was at the time.

Anyways, on to the theory/observation/phenomenon (I still don't know what to call it)!
____

One night, when I was younger, I saw my little sister sleeping. She always used to talk about how she never had dreams when she slept. She would just fall asleep, see darkness for a few seconds, and then wake up. During this time, of course, multiple hours would have passed and eventually her body would awaken from a long night's rest. However, she doesn't experience this "long night's rest." She only experiences a few seconds of darkness.

From that I came to the conclusion that, although I can see my little sister sleeping, in her own 'world/dimension/time space,' she was already awake the next day in the morning.

Now of course I would be there with her there as well since we live in the same house and all. But I couldn't possibly be in two places as once since its still night time where I am at. So for her 'world/dimension/time space' to exist, there must be a second version or replica of me that completed everything I have done this night (including the things I haven't even done yet since I'm still in my own 'world/dimension/time space' with my sister still sleeping) and went to sleep in order to catch up to her ('world/dimension/time space')'s time which is tomorrow morning.

This would mean that we each have our own 'time space' or dimension that we reside in that contains ghosts or replicas of other people from their own dimensions which match up to the time in our own 'world/dimension/time space.'

This may sound weird or even stupid but for some reason I find everything I just typed to possibly be true. The reason I am posting this here is to find out what exactly is wrong with this observation/theory/phenomenon. If you can point out some fallacies in this post (aside from grammatical errors) please comment on it because all of this seems too weird to be true.
So because she doesn't remember her dreams, she travels ahead in time every time she goes to bed, creating an entirely new dimension in the process.

I agree, this sounds reasonable.

LMAO

It does sound a bit ridiculous now that you put it that way...

I guess I need to grasp the concept of time a little better.
