What you purchased was not the flame itself, but an item to change how the flames shape/look would be, for the texture of the flames particles... I.e. you could make the flame particles look like stars, or small pigs..
You can make a flame at the flame forge in-game.
Setup>Utils>Flame Forge
But it ain't cheap to make a flame.

how tamashii already said you can forge a flame in-game for a big price...
I would suggest you to buy a flame in the market thread.
try to get a cheap one because the other ones cost around 50-100k.
when you have luck you can get a flame for 20-40k.
