So, yesterday i tried to make tribal-ish head, don't think it's really good.
And i used Corel Painter 12, first time with it.
So, say what you think.

I find it more cartoonish then tribal but it's not bad thow it's pretty strange. Try adding more lines if you want it to be tribal and maybe use corel draw

The lines look awfully strange. Try using the brush tool instead of the pencil tool. Also it looks more like a cartoonish head texture than a tribal texture (as alexsin said). Tribal textures usually doesn't contain more than 3-4 colours. Also most tribal heads don't have ears. But it looks kay for your first time, just keep on working.
