I'm TCRYTV, I'm a TOTAL noob and I downloaded Toribash after playing it on my mate's PC (his username is appblack). I downloaded last night and registered, and it was all going all right until I clicked Free Play. It crashed and it said all that "Microsoft needs to make an error report" crap. I kept trying, but it kept crashing. Every option on the main menu just makes it crash. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing but that doesn't work. I use Windows XP (Yeah, I know, it's bad) so has anyone got any suggestions? Cheers man.

Few things you could try:
Run in Administrator mode
Run in 256x256 colours (looks horrible, but at least you might be able to play)
Download the latest drivers for your hardware.

Might be easier to solve if you posted some specs about your computer. If you don't know what they are, goto start>run then type in DxDiag and save the .txt, then post the relevant information like your graphics card, memory etc etc

Make sure you have your VC+ runtimes up to date, as well as your drivers.

Thanks a lot man! Maybe you're not so PsYcHo after all, cos I tried running in 256x256 and it worked. You're right, it looks awful, but it works!

Hopefully in the future, a more permanent solution will be found for this particular issue.

As of now, you will have to deal with the horrible quality.
