How old is my Toribash, and is this the reason why I can't connect to servers?

I was using 3.94 and then I couldn't connect, I checked my belt and I was able to join the server but it wouldn't let me.
I googled it and I found a thread where someone said the version may be the problem, so I updated and it said the newest version is 4.2...

I haven't updated in so long, what are the updates in 4.2, may I ask? :/
