What're your thoughts?
Its been proven that 2 out of 3 rape victims in India don't report it simply because they are afraid of getting embarrased or the police have discouraged them to.
Should there be stricter law in india regarding gang rape cases?
Should women have more freedom?
Should rape cases be punishable by a life sentence?

In western countries there's an extremely high volume of false rape accusations, so this seems ridiculous to any westerner.
Not sure the situation in India, it seems like women there are afraid to report it because they don't want to have to deal with the situation, they just want to pretend it never happened.
Seems like that is a cultural problem rather than a legal process problem if people just allow themselves to be raped and not report it.

Regarding the rape cases. Rape is wrong on any acount, doesn't matter how you think you can justify it, it's still wrong. Any law making it stricter would just be redundant, because it will still happen and most likely women over there won't come forth with the claims anyways. If anyone watches ADoseOfBuckley he said once "Sorry guys, laws only stop the honest people"

As I'm almost certain people will misconstrue such an argument, dumbed down, as "rape is good hurr durr."
So I'm predicting a landslide support for the "rape laws need to be changed" side.

Rape is bad, punishment for it should be amplified I guess. (as long as it isn't some shit rule like "Anyone can be found guilty of rape and executed at will of the alleged victim", because that goes from 'help! [insert race] woman in trouble!' to 'a woman being accused of rape means she can basically kill anyone she wants because she is a woman'".
