Honestly, no bread sticks are as good as the ones with the small amounts of small green things, possibly parsley, possibly something else on them, I'm not a chef so I wouldn't know. They're bread triangles really, but they have the perfect texture and quality. They aren't too hard but they don't feel unsubstantial like some other bread stick appetizers, they're mostly given as appetizers at italian restaurants... often times with olive oil or vinegar, or even both. I will admit that olive garden's has some good breadsticks as well but they just don't compare when it comes to these bread triangles. It would be like the difference between 7 year aged chardonnay wine and the two dollar stuff you can get huge ammounts of.

Overall, give me your opinions on bread sticks and which ones are best, worst and whether you even like breadstiks at all.

I am a big fan of bread products because I really like bread. I wouldn't call bagels an appetizer, but that is one of my favorite (along with a boatload of cream cheese).

As for appetizer related things, I like bread sticks from local pizza joints here. The pizza place I go top has bread sticks made with cheddar cheese baked on the bread and once finished they either sprinkle parmesan or some kind of garlic seasoning. It's really good served with ranch or marinara.

My opinion on restaurant style bread sticks... They could have more of a crunchy exterior.

There are some pretty good breadsticks that you can get in the frozen section too.
