Logo looks good, but for the love of god remove those ugly black drop-shadows. The 3d on the logo looks slightly incorrect too implying that the M and D is at a 90 degree angle. Would probably be easier to just make it in 3d.

ehh that ugly shadow is just on the preview actually the original logo does not include it,3d making with envelope tool would be too easy and it wouldnt make it standing out. and the 90 degrees is just because of new looking and more fantasy,modern looking.

It is very busy.
Logo's are at their most powerful when kept simple.

I'm not sure why you did the cut-off green-pink on the text, it is illogical and plain horrid to be honest.
The idea of your logo is not that bad, actually. Although I've seen this combination before.
The shading isn't realistic, however.
The 'D' is also off proportion-wise.

marci i downloaded adobe illustrator how do you do stuff like this its amazing c: props to you man. 9/10

first of all see a lot of tutorial, but its easy xD with line object you can make the whole looking of the logo and than i just use gradient tool, for the text get a nice font--->expand and than you can fill it and stroke,whatever you want. and the gradient coloring makes it so bright atc and good looking. Since the Illustrator is vector program the lines are clear not like in gimp

so just watch/read a lot of illustrator tutorial.
