Suggestion on thread display option
Given the nature of certain threads, art/textures shops for instance, it would be nice if the original post, containing the banner, art, and descriptions, could remain at the top, kind of like a sticky, and then have all the most recent posts show up right under, or which ever way you choose from there.

Would you have the artist/Uploaders name under it? if not it might have been difficult for some people to identify the artwork

Ok, I will try to clarify.

For example: I have opened a thread in the art/textures thread called
"Evorocket's Skins".

My "original post", which is in reality my shop, contains my banner, and also the art I am offering to sell, trade, etc...

My suggestion is that this "original post" (my shop) always remain at the top, so that when someone enters to post a reply, he will always see the banner and art, and right below, they would see the most recent posts, or whichever way they choose to view from there.

This seems like a nice idea, to simply reverse....say this post to the top because it is most recent? This wold definitely help with all threads, instead of having to click the last page to see the most recent post it is simply right there in front of you. I only have one problem though, say you have a clan DSC and your clan has been around for a while and you are getting kind of slack with you posts, the first thing a new member sees when they are coming into the DSC is the slack posts and not the relatively decent ones.

Well, it is not quite what I am suggesting.

What you are saying can already be done in "thread display option".

What I am suggesting in simple terms is to be able to always keep my shop at the top, and then have the option of having the latest posts right underneath. This way, a new comer will always see the shop banner and items when he comes in, and then can view the rest as he wishes.

I was under the impression this was possible, or at least has been in the past. Unless my memory deludes me I remember threads which had the thread's creator's first post at the top of each page.

Even so, if this was re/implemented there should ofc be an option to use this.

Yes, my thoughts exactly!

Because this would not be ideal for every kind of thread. I agree it should only be available as a thread tool, and should be controlled by the thread creator.

I have looked, but I don't believe this to be available at the moment.

I have checked this setting in the UserCP and it is enabled. I guess what is left is the (if enabled on board). So now my question is, is it possible to enable this in the art/textures board?
