This is a head of mine that I've been working on for a while, and I need major help for the background because I'm out of ideas.

Try cleaning it up a bit by making it a solid color where they touch instead of that blening thing,

The lines are grossly sharp.
Try smudging next time
Dodge and burn tool will help.

Mapping is a bit off i think.

Well, if you upload that texture, the face would be wide. And yeah try cleaning it up.
Try a asymmetrical robot, like when you're fisnished, add some scrathes. by the way, the face looks like the Predator's mask. 4/10. I don't like it, but I don't hate it either.

1. How do I use smudge to blur lines?
2. All I used was dodge and burn tool.
3. I tested it ingame, it maps just well. You should get your eyeglasses cleaned.

Also, I haven't recieved a single idea on how to make the background, and a single suggestion on how to fix the flaws.
Seriously guys, instead of pointing out the flaws, help me to fix them.

Just correct the mapping you don't want the face too wide. Or maybe watch some vids on how to correctly map.

Make the background a silver-ish color. Maybe try and make some cracked metal plates.

Overall, I like it. The lines are a bit "pixel-y", but it is an image on a computer. It is made out of pixels, cut him some slack.

I feel like this texture could be a ton better with some more time and effort put into it.

Idk it looks like it was painted... therefore making it look un-robotic if thats even a word.
