That's good! One thing, the color of the pupil on the right eye is too high, maybe put this shadow on the edges like you did on the pupil on the left one

You are not complete with originality,
it looks like simple vectors.
the mapping is good, for cartoon it is perfect.

Work more on the hair strands, it is spiky and sharp,
try curved lines more.

Oopy: Yes, I'm aware. It's not the correct colors. That eye is blind, needs to be more foggy...

I'd say it's about 50-60% done, might even be lower. Depends on how long I'll work on it, details etc.

First wip was the best
you changed the mapping around the nose and stretched it, looks uncomfortable now. would rather have had you just raise the first wips face very slightly.
also liked the lack of colour in it, the coloured latest wip is boring.
hair sofar looks good on the sides, the fringe is choppy as, redo that bit immediately.
dont think it needs shading, wouldnt fit, shading isnt a prerequisite for every good texture.

The hair isn't half finished, but if I go back top the pre-color stage... What should I do with it?

I like face, but i rly dislike hair. It's too simply.

and the face just looks strained, not angry, more like he's taking a wicked shit and it's just maiming his asshole

you should probably spend more time drawing expressions before you try stuff like this

Too much detail. Remember, the faster you draw, the stronger it gets. Wether you want an angry expression, a sad one, a happy one, the same rule applies, a manga is a drawing of emotion, not of detail.

Looks great soo far, only thing I would do is
add shading to the face and hair to add contrast and depth to the face.
