Traditional art, oil on canvas, palette knife and varnished.
It was done for private collection and purpose :] , but was sold later.
Original size: 1.60 x 90 m
Time that went into it: a week and a half job.

Whoa nice work very colorful and creative, but too bad my eyes cant see the real image of abstract painting :/
Don't send me PM's, I don't read them.
I like the way you drew the contours and volume forms. Great job on it

you put alot of effort into it and overall it looks good.

not a fan of the colours, the pink seems out of place
the darks need some more DARK dark colours and more contrast to make the pink work, even some white highlights going into the larger pink areas to make it pop some.

generally wouldnt have even thought to have used pink, it just doesnt add to it at all.
personally would have moved toward picking up on the greens used in there, or yellows or something a little softer.

i dont like how the technique isnt experimental, the abstract method may be experimental for you, but the technique itself looks like old faithfull.

each shape/line/area of colour seems too small, would have liked to have seen more varied sizes of brushes and more confident brush strokes and blending.
a bit wishy washy with the application on a canvas this big.
looking at the brushstrokes it looks more random than abstract, nothing decisive, nothing looks intentional
no visual cue to indicate whether or not you thought how the colours interact or are layered, too many questions about "why didnt you do this or that?"
doesnt quite feel solid on the intellectual field.

love the layering, but dont love the flow of the layers, on the smaller scale, everythings directional, but nothing works with layers above and below it
the visual result is decent, but the finer points lack the attention to detail that it needs, and for something that people would be sticking on their walls, that attention to detail is a big thing.

in the end though, if that was on my wall, im not sure what Id think about it.
because each stroke seems random, because you leave questions unanswered, and with my overthinking and a need to find something figurative in everything, a need to find that structure, to prove that even things intentionally random, follow some structure.
i might find myself consistantly going back and staring at it, to find that something figurative.
which would mean success on your end, evoking a personal response.

I dont know if I like it or dislike it, the flawed technique is made up for by a personal response.

Its been far too long since I last spent time looking at traditional art, thankyou

Agreed. The pink really doesn't fit in with the dark tone of the piece.

However, it's very creative and it really makes me see cave paintings. Just the pink doesn't really fit in.

Anyways, I'd give it 8.5 - 9.0 / 10
As said before; the pink feels a bit out of place.
A bit too bright for my eyes.
I'm not sure what feeling you wanted to bring over to the audience but for me the 'devil' theme brings up a heavier feeling. I would've chosen a very dark red instead of the pink, maybe even use only red. But that is personal choice, I do love the fact that you used green, a bit of a bold choice but it works for me.

Initial thought:
Ancient mural paintings.

Second thought:
Dancing people.

Third thought:
Horsey! On the right, haha!

All in all, I think I need to see the piece in person to really give you useful advice, although I'm against CnCing abstract because it's just so hard because maybe I do not understand the piece the way it's supposed to.

I'm an artist.
I'm completely ignorant and uneducated in this form of art (and on art in general), so this comment will be purely based on my personal opinion.

I pretty much love this.
The dancing feeling really came through to me.
It all feels like a blurry drug-fueled party with psychedelic music playing.
With the dark colors starting to engulf the bright tones that fill the middle of the painting it kind of connotes the destructiveness of the path that's being taken.
In that sense, the word "devil" sort of fits, though I agree with the other comments saying that such term induces an expectation of something darker on the viewer.

I wouldn't really hang it on the wall, since that's for pieces that other people are supposed to see, and this just feels a bit too personal. I feel really compelled to use it as a wallpaper for my laptop though.

Again, let me reiterate that my opinion is completely uneducated, so at most it can give you an interpretation that's different from Alpha's and Ben's.

Anyway, thanks a lot for sharing it and please keep doing so!

We're still kids in buses longing to be free.
Tank you for comments.

Although, there are thing with picture that is wrong - colors. It is captured with not really good photo so all the colors are too much red, so it looks pink. Oil colors I have used are flesh ocher with flesh tint and pink brilliance, but it's not that pink as presented. It's more of a color of... Well, if I have to describe it, it is a color of boiled flesh. And green is much more turquoise. Other colors are also a bit wrong...

Maybe I should have explained what it is, so you might get the feeling what I wanted to represent.

First I made a sketch with maroon color which was just a big orgy with humans and animals with the devil in the center. :} Not really stuff to show on this forum.

Then I started applying layers of colors over it until I got something of a unrecognizable mush, with just few shapes still semi-visible.
I worked on it from time to time, adding new things each day, so depending what kind of a day I had, it became more darker or colorful. :]

It was in my possession for quite some time, but friends started persuading me to exhibit it, and it was put in macabre pub. Sold to some very cool guy weeks later. I was really sad when had to depart from it (as with my every painting), but it did bring me new computer rig. :}
