So I thought it might be an interesting idea to interview Jack, here it is (inspired by the recent rb interviews) The interview is in the spoiler, enjoy!
Name:Jack Morris Age:18 Location:Wales, United Kingdom Belt:Blue Belt Duration of Toribashing: About 3 years.
The Interview
SenseiKitten:How did you stumble upon Toribash?
Jack: Back before I had a social life I'd sometimes find myself extremely bored and took to finding "Top 100 pc games" or "Top 100 multiplayer games" lists and picking what looked interesting, by pure chance Toribash was on one of these lists and I liked the look of it. I think I installed it at about 11pm and got to bed at around 4am, it's a pretty hard game to put down.
SenseiKitten: So no mystical quest to the realm of the tori?
Jack: Not that I'm legally able to speak of no.
SenseiKitten: How do you find toribash?
Jack:It's really fun, and without taking the difficulty curve into account it's the type of game I can play while doing other stuff, which is really important to someone who lacks a lot of free time.
SenseiKitten: So what made you start making Toribash videos on SimplyTalkingVideos?
Jack: I got really sick of my friends telling me they couldn't get the hang of it, mostly through lack of trying on their part, and felt that the ingame tutorial leaves a lot to be desired, I noticed no one had done a bare bones basic tutorial for Toribash and decided to step up to the plate so to speak, going back and watching them now I was talking out my ass for some of the points but I think it still gets the job done.
SenseiKitten: I do remember watching your old videos in anticipation as you ripped uke to shreads, what is your favourite toribash show to do currently?
Jack: Heh, I can certainly rip him far more efficiently these days. That's an interesting question, the show I generally have the most fun doing is the mod spotlights, but the show I love seeing the reactions too the most is replay showcase.
SenseiKitten: Any thoughts on a new toribash series?
Jack: Loads, I find it's important to balance Toribash with our other shows but I do have plans to start new Toribash shows soon. I know a lot of people have been asking for a simple weekly play session series and that is very much in the works. We also have some far more interesting shows planned soon but that would be telling.
SenseiKitten: Other than toribash, what videos do you get the most fun out of making?
Jack: Lately it's been Terraria hands down, but that's mainly because it's new to both Jon and I. Jack & Cameron was always a lot of fun to produce and Cameron and I recently worked on SOMETHING related to that that should be out today.
SenseiKitten: I do enjoy the terraria lets play, I think that just about wraps it up. Thank you for letting me interview you, anything to say to the fans?
Jack: That's no problem. I think I'll say what I always say: Thank you, we would literally be no where without all your support
I agree with potato man as well. I'd love to see a longer, more professional interview in the future. Maybe a video? Who knows. But a longer one would be better.
