20:15 - Tim: A shovel is a move that is done from the start of a match, lowing your shoulders in the first turn and contracting or pecs (or something like that) and then raising your shoulders and pushing your opponent out of the ring, usually used in aikido.tbm
20:16 - Tim: A lift can be done at any point during a match, and lifts the opponent upwards (and possibly outwards as well, however that's pushing and lifting)

well, nowadays anything that gets your opponent at least a bit airborne seems to be a lift or a shovel...
