This has been going on for weeks now, once I leave a game and move to free play, and then rejoin it comes up with this error.

most people have had this problem as well, it's a connection timeout with he servers. my suggestion is that when this happens, close your toribash for about ten minutes or play freeplay for a little bit, then try again.
