Does anyone take real karate?
im a black belt in the world tang soo do association. took me 6 years.

im in region 8 if anyone else takes tang soo do

does anyone else take real karate? if so what style, how long, and whats your rank. ranks dont take the same amount of time in different karates, so be sure to say how long.

i used to take shotokun karate im a first degree black belt but i wish i never quit. now ive forgotton all the stuff i learned and im weak. god im so stupid for quiting!!!

the weird thing about karate, is even though your learning to fight, you learn even better how to stay out of situations in wich you would have to fight. in all of 6 years of karate, from 3rd grade to 10th, i have never gotten in any kind of a fight (except just friendly wrestling) even though i really just feel like beating the crap out of someone, i realize that it would be stupid...

if i were your parents, the only reason i wouldnt want you to take karate is because of how crazy expensive it is...

that is true same here for shotokun. ps. hey anyone here win any medals or trophies in tournaments? have a silver medal and a gold medal for first place and a trophie.
