Making it in Photoshop CS6

It looks really nice. I tahona somethings that need to be added is to add small claws in THE front paws. I would also say to add more thickness to the back of the Cat.

Overall it is looking very nice. Good Job dude.

The head doesn't look like it has too much depth

Yeah, the head really lacks depth, like Oopyuman said. It looks the face doesn't protrude from the neck very much at all.

The rear also lacks depth and shading. It looks like the rear legs and tail are flat, like pieces of paper.

I'm not that great of an art critic so I can't really say much about the rest, except for the fact that it looks like it's sitting on top of water or some sort of liquid. Jesus cat?

The cat's face needs better shading. You can barely differentiate where the neck stops and the head starts, and as for the cat's face, it looks flat as opposed to snoutlike.

The legs/other stuff are a work of art in terms of proportion. Perfect.

The main problem would be the structure of the head.


On this picture you can see the cats head feels more round, with the nose sticking out. While yours feels a bit heart shaped with the nose being flatter. Basically just some perspective issues and understanding of the anatomical structure.

Other than that good job. I kinda like the first picture better cause the 2nd one feels a bit too saturated. Might be just my crap monitor tho.

yeah, had to resize the entire head which caused some issues in the neck area regarding depth and all, I can probably fix it tomorrow if I don't have anything else to do. Thanks for feedback.

The red and orange highlights kind of ruin it.
And the lack of detail at the back of the cat makes it look unfinished.
The eyes are a bit funky.

It's pretty nice, but you just need to put more work on it.
