Sometimes this happens to me too.Try re-booting your computer or laptop.If that doesn't work try uninstalling toribash and re-installing.

This exact same thing happened to me when I modified the sound files, and again for some other unknown reason that went away when I lowered the graphics to minimum. If that fails, do what Shadow said and reinstall.
