Looks nice! I'd try to add some shading on the eyes to see if that'd look better. I think it would since the fact already has a two-toned shading so if you bring that to the eyes it may add some consistency. If it doesn't make it look better, it should look more anime-ish.

Also, Tetsuru judging from the back it looks like you don't know the trick to texturing on the back of the head. Using Layer->Transform->Offset usually makes the process a lot easier. Just make a copy of your image (Image->Flatten), offset that copy to the back, design on the back, and then offset your design to where it belongs.
