i saw on the market that bumpmap are in the game but do they work i havent seen anyone with one

They do, but there's generally an issue with item.dat as they won't be turned on by default when you /dl yourself. If the necessary options in it are manually edited, bumpmaps will work fine.

You can show the depth of a normal (128 256 512) texture using bumpmap textures

I've been playing toribash for 5 months straight and never saw anyone with working bumpmaps on. So I'd say that what sir says would still mean they don't work. If you can somehow make toribash show up bumpmaps, that's ok, but it would mean it doesn't require bumpmap textures itself to be bought and activated...
