ugly flames outline problem.
My problem is: on my toribash, flames have this ugly blue-green outline and look very bad w/o flame particle texture.

It looks like

but I wanna it look like:

^this

how do I fix that?

edit: what else, flame particle outline shows up ugly like this on 4,5, 4,41 and 3,9-something versions I have on my computer. So it might not be caused by the version and I clearly remember flame outline being nice and smooth in the past when I played.

Poke your graphics hardware's settings, needs set to run at high quality not high performance. Notice how the shadows on the Tori are wonky too? That's a hardware thing, the same thing that's warping the particles. It could just be that your hardware isn't capable of rendering TB correctly, common with integrated GPUs.

While you're at it /dl uke to make sure your client has the standard particle, it defaults to his when a texture isn't in use.

I really dunno where to start. I have this Radeon 7970 video card and it runs other games pretty much flawlessly. When I go to AMD vision control center, it gives me a lot of options. It's not like on laptop where I could choose performance, quality and power savings video options.

could you give me some more info what technology it might be using and what might be wrong?
AMD/ATI... Nuff said.

SUPPORT
EVER

The only advice with them is if they ever make another fully working driver (the last good ones don't support newer GPUs) then stick with it & don't update again.
