Yeah, Gmod is really fun. I currently have v9.0.4, and I am waiting until my dad will allow me to buy v10.

i wanted to get half life two ever since it came oput then two years later i finnaly got it and my *bootlegged version of windows so i cant have internet*wouldnt run it because steam had to have internet and my other computer wich has internet doesn't have a dvd-rom drive so it wouldnt work so after all my crying because i wanted that game so much i went crazey and tore up the house i wanted that game so bad and evory opporitunity i got to get it turned out bad and i didnt get it but i FINNALY get it and this shit happens i guess im just not destined to have the game and g-mod.

I feel sorry for you. The first time I got Half-Life 2, I didn't have the internet, so, as I suspected (I checked the minimal system requirements on the back), it didn't work. At first, I was pretty sad, but luckily for me, my dad decided he put the internet on my computer by placing my computer out in the living room to get the internet from the internet computer. Eventually, we moved it back. Due to the fact that HL2 got registered for use on Steam while my computer had the internet, Steam was able to run in offline mode so I didn't need the internet to run HL2. But then eventually, I got the internet in my own room. At least one of us is happy!

Basically, tertywerty, you only need to put the internet on your computer once, just to register HL2, and then you can play it offline. Ask to do the same thing I did.
