I have a grip sound but it doesn't work. It doesn't work in-game, neither in replay.

I also have the kiai, win, and dq sounds, and they work fine. My grip sound is in the "wave" format, as are all my other sounds. It is only 1.5 seconds long, and I got a message saying it uploaded fine. Is there something I don't know about grip sounds? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check your options -> utils -> sounds

Mayhaps grip sounds are deactivated?

Thank you for the info, didn't know it was possible to turn individual sounds on/off. Will check soon and let you know if it was the case.

I looked and unfortunately, this is not the problem. All the sounds are checked on.

Is there any other reason why the grip sound could be kept from working?

Possibly has something to do with your custom folder. Sounds tend to work fairly obnoxiously there.

The sound itself is good, seeing how I punctured my eardrums with it just now.

I tried everything i know of so far with no success.

Try equipping another sound and seeing if that works, your sound file may just be corrupted.
