Tori Sales!!!!!
So I was in this server a couple of days ago... Some guys were asking for tc and I came up with the idea Tori-Sales. So I'm pretty sure you guys know where I'm headed with this. Some stuff in the Tori-Shop are very expensive... right? why not lower the prices by a good enough amount for 10min of each week. It should be completely random. No announcements at all. This gives people in the torishop at the moment to get what they want. Another option would be to have sales around the Holidays and Black Friday. Think about all the noobs that want Vampire or Helios. They could probably afford it with In-game earnings if someone lowered the prices . Another option would be to Multiply the ammount of In-Game earnings by like 5 or something so players get 50 instead of 10 per win. I would recommend doing this for special Occasions!

That would really help out newbies to TB and it would increase the TB community size. Most new people see that and all they can get is orc and chronos. I would like this feature myself.

A hole I see in this plan...

wouldn't putting shop price items on sale... lower them to market or higher than market value?

That's up to them. I'm just throwing an idea out there and if that's the case then take the 10 min idea because it is only just for 10 minutes. I think it should be lower than market value because most people can't even afford what is in the market.

Another sorta flaw i see is that if there are all these expensive items floating around wouldn't that take away the effort of getting them yourselves? kinda pointless IMO.

I don't think it's pointless... Expensive items are still going to be expensive during sales. Joint textures for example. Instead of being 100k they could be 50k for 5min or so. Whoever is in the torishop might have a chance to buy 2 instead of one. In the market it is worth around 80k. It will also bring us a larger community like Cyber said. More people = more money. More money = more development of Toribash. More development (features) = More people with more money. It just goes in a circle after that.

As far as i know people buy tc from other people nowadays... so basically people of tb are making money. i mean how could it attract a larger community? are they going to broadcast the tori sale on tv? the only way they can get it around is through the community and if people are not on the community (People who do not play toribash) it wouldn't be able to get around. Say if you don't have a single clue what toribash is and one of your friends comes up to you and says "THERE IS A TORI-SALE GOING ON!" i can guarantee 99.8% of the time people and you would not know what the hell he was talking about.

When people hear about the sales... they have something to go after so they wont quit toribash for awhile. Instead trying to buy something you will never afford. More people sticking around means more people to spread the word about the game itself. There are alot of accounts that are inactive. I guarantee you this can stop people from quitting toribash and help the community grow. Why would someone go up to you and say there is a Tori sale going on if you didn't even ask them if they new what the game was? That part of your rebuttal was unneeded and didn't support you at all. And yeah the people of tb are making money... but don't they want more?

Market bots are illegal... but some people have still used them... and it can be pretty hard to detect a market bot if programed amazingly...

so if one person uses a bot to auto buy all the items in the sale... that still just makes it unfair to new people... cause now you have the same problem + a worse toribash economy...
