Need Help With Sparring
Well, I finally mastered running (Sort of meaning I can take more then five steps.)
I am decent at balancing and stuff like that. The only problem im having, is moving. When I move to the opponent and do atleast one attack that connects, I cant get near the opponent again. I see myself doing everything I can but it only makes me go further and further away from him.

I want to master spar. Can someone help me do so?

-and when I fall I aint getting back on my feet. xD
Hey. I don't know how to do it either. Can you help me with running sometime please? Possibly today? Please message me. Thanks
You are most likely leaning into the wrong direction. Try to get in a position so you lean in the direction you are going.
Oblivion: that wasn't hilarious
Oblivion: it was brilliantly complex though
Oblivion: hands down man
Oblivion: today I genuinely believe more than I ever did before
Oblivion: that you are better than me
Oblivion: gg NutHug

Also, try contracting your wist and knees (such that you don't DQ though).
When you stand still, there will most times be one way (in terms of extending wrists or knees) to get back to your opponent.

Works for me
If you kick your partner try relaxing the knee, if you are punching try relax the elbow, this makes it so you wont go flying away xD.
Hope this helped.
Running- Bend and begin stepping forward.
Balance- stay on feet, and slowdown if speed is the cause, tilt and turn to maintain balance
Horse Stance- to stand in crouching position. This is most important for kicks, control, speed, and punching
Jumping- raise arms, extend hips/hip and relax knees
Rules of spar- Try not the emote, don't grab unless necessary
Tips- keep fluid, relaxed motions, don't stiff up too much. keep communication with partner to make sure you get the best replay. Don't focus on points. Punches shouldn't knock partner off balance.
Flipping- after you've jumped and your feet are left on the ground, extend abs, raise arms, then once ur airborne try to ball yourself up in the air and contract abs.

Dodging/blocking- once again a key aspect to these are to maintain a good horse stance, get a little low to the ground, and be firm, then either move out the way to dodge, or raise arms up to block, but after a doge make sure you find horse stance again to maintain control if your partner attacks again

Good luck, and message me for training, classes, or more help.
