Is there an explanation on how this change came to be?

TC demand is pretty high nowadays, and there aren't a lot of people selling tc out there.

Multiple Reasons;
1.) TC demand is pretty high
2.) Lack of people with enough tc to sell
3.) Recent changes in torishop prices allowed for more items to be bought with less TC which made TC more valuable than before which is why it has gone to 5.5k-8k/1USD

1) for a long time prices were fixed at $10 for 10k
2) people started to undercut a bit but got a bit lazy
3) items that are tc or $ help regulate it a bit too

The reason is very simple and actually only one:

all the other reasons are caused by the actual one.

I appreciate the explanations. It makes a lot of sense. Price drops will always have a repercussion. I haven't had time to go through all the price adjustments. I was mainly astounded by the joints texture new prices. I was actually looking forward to the 512 joints to be released, along with a price revision on all other joint textures, but I expected them to be at least double the cost of what they are, and I thought I was being conservative.
