[Music] Electric Spring
Heya, finally made a somewhat decent song that's good enough to be shown outside of the [Hunters] forum.
As for the genre, I would consider it as deep house with some lounge-like influences.

So yeah, some cnc would be great

Programs used: Ableton Live 9, some plug-ins that come with Ableton, some 3rd party plug-ins, like NI Massive, Reaktor and Absynth

I've also used some drum samples and the chords were sampled from a loop.

Screenshot of the arrangement

The Hihats sound really generic, and that bothers me. It is also a bit too repetitive at times, but the ambience you implemented sounded pretty cool.

duuuuuude, your synth is awesummmmm

honestly you could've found better claps, kicks, hihats, ect ect but it sounds great nonetheless

i'd use this shit in a party getting turnip'd.

8.5/10 mang gg
i like it
you don't have to think about much since it's so simple and attractive sounding

wd imo but those claps tho

The main problem with kick and hihat is, that I only took one sample each with some basic EQ-ing (taking away some of the low end, etc). Probably they would have sounded better with some layering of different kick / hihat samples. The claps however are layered, however, I just took a look at the whole stuff again and noticed that it sounds way more organic when I lower the pitch of one of the samples by a few semitones.

All in all, I guess some more advanced EQ-ing would have also improved the drums quite a bit.

Also, tbh, I also think that the song is too repetitive, but when I was creating the midi clips, I've somewhen reached a certain point where every adjustment just made the song worse and therefore decided to keep it as it was.

Anyways, thanks for the cnc guys
