Ok I bought the orc gradient from the torishop, went to my inventory, and activated it but when I play the game my character doesnt have it

One multiplayer game might not be enough.
Play 5~10 minutes, in Multiplayer, then restart Toribash. If the multiplayer doesn't work, it's probably like Tyfuu said, your firewall. Check if it's blocking Toribash.
