I downloaded Toribash from Steam, and whenever I tried to register a account, it reads, "Network Error! Please create your account from www.toribash.com
Timeout was reached" So I did just that, and then tried to login again. When I logged in, it then froze for about 3-5 seconds and then said, "error : Couldn't connect to server". I thought this was something with Steam, so I downloaded the standalone launcher from the site, and it did the same thing.

I suspect it could be my Norton 360 Virus Protection, but I am a noob with it, and don't know how to use it really well. I am also using a Windows 8.1, in case that has anything useful with it.

Can someone please help, I really want to play this game, I've seen to many videos ranging from awesome replays to watching Markiplier at least try to do something epic, and I'm getting tired of just watching.

Check and see if you have a firewall blocking the connection.

Also, look in your toribash folder and post here what appears in your stderr.txt file.

I suck with anything regarding virus protection stuff, can you please show me how to find that (Norton 360).

It says absolutely nothing in the stderr.txt file, I never tinkered with it at all.

So, my friend went over, and acualy managed to fix it for me somehow. I don't know how he did it, as I wasn't watching, but he fixed it. Thanks anyways marcus.
