But it does use a slightly different shader I believe. It's not possible to make textures of certain colors (I think supernova and void are another 2 that cannot be copied) because they have emission detail.
It might be possible in the future, if they release texture mapping for emission, specularity, etc, we could make some even more interesting textures.
