I haven't used Fraps in a while, but I belive there is a hot key you can set in one of the tabs. Fraps only allows 30 seconds though, bandicam is a lower resolution but you can record forever. Well technically not byt until you fill your hard drive you're good.

Video Capture Hotkey. Set it to whatever you want.
Also, Fraps has no limit to how long you record. If the files are too big and your harddrive fills up you can either delete or compress them.
