[Art] Logo designs
.

idea behind
1. Bakery logo
2. Electronics
3. sportsgear
4. travel agency

Practicing some illustrator and inDesign, never really used illustrator before so if anyone have some good tutorials or advice to give me I'd love to hear it, I'm looking at you graphic design nerds. I'll add some more stuff later I guess. Also need to download fonts.

Great job. I could literally see some of these as every day logos. Especially the second one. I'm thinking of body lotion/moisturizer XD

To be honest, I think a lot of logo design comes from creativity surrounding the actual name of the company, kind of how toyota spells out toyota inside of their logo. These could be a lot more interesting if you just made up some random company names and designed logos for them. Also, is it just me or do the curves on some of these look pixelated

A dueler is only a good as his finest lift.

I love many people on this forum such as ...

Yeah, but that involves typography which I haven't really practiced yet, but I'm getting there. Got the chance to practice some hours at work in illustrator, found some cool functions and new exciting stuff.
About the pixelation, its probably the format I saved it in or the rescaling from imgur, its vector graphics so shouldn't be pixelated, it isn't that way inside my project.

If you guys want you can give me some fake company names and I'll try to make logos for them.
make a "Lemonade Gang" logo
if it's cool i'll cnc it and use it if you let me

for the rest of them - they're very generic and not welcoming
most companies are resorting to friendlier and more colorful logos (bright and inviting)
none of these really fit the mark and none of them have much depth other than the tech-looking one
i'm not bashing them, since i think the 2nd and 3rd ones are really nice, they just don't capture a business well
the last one btw is really awful - bold lines, lots of black
neither of those things are good, imo at least
don't talk to me or my dudes ever again
Getting more used to it now, still not decent at it.

Just using fonts for now, not making my own fonts.

I totally agree with this. I have to stop using black strokes.

the uc logo - lovely line work, but try to trim off the square-ish angles at the bottom of the mouth
the cross is a good addition but he's looking for something unholy, which wouldn't make sense, try adding some other symbolism in there like 616, satanic circle etc
as for color and other stuff, not sure what to do with that but a solid inner color would be nice, maybe fire or something

alazhar - great colors and reinterpretation of the original sketch but it will most definitely look bad once resized
not sure how big or small it will be but you should try making the font bigger, or bolder so that readability is easy at any size

mantra - the logo lacks depth or style, feels like a really simple design, you could probably change this by getting rid of some of the stroking and add overlapping and slightly transparent ones
the words fit good but also lack any style but that's really easy for you to fix

good work, you seem to be getting better with taking up requests

demon creatures often shown with cross in the forehead in artwork, the nature of the demon/skull settings make it unholy in itself even if the cross is not upside down. Can't find any examples now because I don't want to research satanic rituals while at work

alazhar sketch was so wierd, hard to make sense out of the request. I think the logo sketch he did didn't look like a logo so I donno what to do with it xD

Mantra was awful, was going for the asian look of the characters idk. I guess it will look better without the black outlines. I don't know why you keep bringing up depth as a must have, many good logos are completely 2d but still look good.

Thanks for helping me improve my stuff hobo easy to know what I have to work on, its so easy to get in to bad habits.

some practice from tutorials.

masks are horrible to work with in illustrator.
i only say depth because some logos end up with nothing so depth could be added to turn it from bad in general to at least appealing to look at

see, if you had made that magnifying glass 2d with the same colors but with no masks it would look terrible
i'm not saying it needs all of those masks on it, but using just 3 could change it from bad to decent

btw that magnifying glass looks really cool to me for some reason even tho you just copied from a tut
