if you were trying to get that head angle to show on the sphere, you'd be in for a rough time. its a difficult one to pull off, i think you needed to take it a bit further to make it work. but if you raised it up even more, the neck would fuck out. face would need to be a bit more squashed and youd have to start considering perspective, looking up from the chin.
nose needs alot of work, tracing / drawing it directly from a resource leads to problems on a sphere.
handlebar moustache needs to be mapped at a slight angle to come out as straight lines on the sphere.
the tracing really shows on the lopsided eyes and sides of the face, they lack the detail of the front area.
skin tone is more hispanic than black. needs more blues and reds in the skin tone.
face is very wide and big overall, another texture that looks like he could be stewie from family guy.

PLEASE fix that highlight on his forehead, did your hand slip and you just forgot about it?
and do something about that hair, that hair is trash, would have looked better without the squiggles you added and just done it the same way you did the facial hair. but if you're gna try make his fro stand out, you'd need to put some effort into it.

otherwise its not bad, i like the grungy finish and the different perspective is refreshing.
but it has a few fatal flaws that you should learn from.

Quite nice but it feels unfinished like BenDover said fix the forehead highlight.
Also the colors should be smoother it looks like it was just layed on currently.

Pretty good mapping.
