Okay so here's what I think should work because this has happened to me before.

Step 1: Open the tb_login.dat file with notepad and insert your password in the slot I provided, delete the *'s.

Step 2: Close it and make sure to save it.

Step 3: Right click on Toribash and click "open file location", a page should open and just drag the tb_login.dat file in to the page. (Make sure not to put it in to a random folder by accident, when you place the file in it should ask you if you'd like to replace an existing file click "yes" or "okay").

Step4: Close the page an open Toribash, you should be logged in fine, if it doesn't work try login it this may just be a problem with your internet too.

It's happened to me before that my internet was the cause of these problems, I've received the exact same message "can't connect to peer".

Try turning off your router for half an hour.
