Alright, I was contacted by Kristis133 about a proposition. He has suggested a clan merge with Tint, this will entail a new board and a new name. This will also mean we'd have to remove the cripplingly inactive people from the clan to accommodate a merge.


I have always been very hesitant about removing inactive members because I like knowing that when they return they'll have a home with us. However not removing dead weight from time to time will really cripple the longevity of the clan, specifically with the evil clan butcher looming over our heads at all times. Now don't get me wrong, if they return they'd be welcomed with open arms back into the clan.


Tint would be having a roster cut as well to accommodate for the merge, we'd be inheriting both skill, staff assets and more friends. Now, don't get me wrong here, isn't about the skill/staff assets or we might as well just actually merge with [NO]. Tint has members in their clan that have been total bros to us since day one, other than a bit of bad blood between some of the duelers in either clan. We'd be seeing names such as Yoyo, Kristis133, dinis, Kat, Blubkill, Bio, ALEJANDRO, Armino, Deridor and 1FrozeN1.


I'd like to hear your opinions on this, and this merge will not occur until after the Clan League finishes, so don't just wildly say yes or no because we have plenty of time to think it over. Actually give it some thought, which I know is a lot to ask from you dumb asses.

Keep in mind, that this is just an idea for now. Me and Tint folks we'll be discussing the matter too.

I recently came up with this idea and asked Orko for his opinion on the matter.

The thing is, that our clans were always pretty close since TGS desc was created. Differently from Alpha, we don't recruit people just because they are good at the game with the idea of winning every single event, we accept people that we like so we can have a friendly place to chill in.

The benefits of merging would be: Having a pretty huge and close family, not worrying about activity ups and downs that happens for most of the older clans and most likely being the strongest clan in the community. It would also be a good chance to do some activity checks and make sure that only the active fellas are left in the clan.

The disadvantages: Well, I couldn't really think of any, besides the fact that some people don't like changes. As far as I know, there are no grudges between us two. There are also quite a few Ex-Tint fellas here.

Either way, let us know what'cha think.

On the note of an activity check based cut, we'll have fair leniency when it comes to people whom have been their for us since day one.
