The font colors didn't suit with the effects. But the effects are nice.

effects are poorly executed, the font is boring as well as unfitting and the colors seem weird to me
now, it seems like this is just some letters, glow, bad/low quality smoke, and a semi-circle
doesn't seem like you tried very hard

when making logo you should try to go deeper than just putting up the first letter of each word and adding an effect
now, does that work for some? sure, but their mainly boring professional companies who need nothing
this is a gaming community, so try to include whatever they do, a motto maybe of sorts, and their initials (incorporated in a unique way, or not at all if you can think of a better free-form shape to represent them)

using text tool in logo never works

try using vector program instead of raster

basicly as hobo said poorly excecuted and couldnt see any plan you were goin for

try connecting the small D with the big D using a unique shape and color difference

and never ever use text too for the main logo picture
