You get QI for every game played, a draw still counts as a game, no?

No it doesnt

I onced checked my qi then i joined a mushu server ran away match ended checked my qi was still the same

Last month before earning ranks were only in ranked lobbies people could just make their own lobby and space it and draw to earn quick qi and their rank wouldn't be effected. I assume that's the reasoning behind why you don't earn qi from a draw.
