Yea I started collecting them when I lived in Sweden ~year 2000. Mum used to buy me some packs as a special treat now and then. They were a big thing in school too so I bought a few occasionally. Stopped some years ago now but I still have the collection and it's pretty nice if I do say so. ;o
I'll always remember that I thought it was funny how pokemon was for collecting/displaying/trading and Yugioh was what everyone actually played. Good good memories.
When I was younger at school we would trade our Poke-man cards.I remember having some nice ones and trading them all for charizards.Ended with like 15 charizards everyday
I broke my arm for a pikachu card.
When I was 6, this dude told me he would give me the card. He threw it in the wind, i was running after it, i tripped and fell right on those little asphalt bumps with my forearm.
i had a shadowless charizard from base set once and some one stole it from me at school in third grade. i didn't realize how much it was worth and i don't think the person whole stole it did either. it was just a really cool card
On the topic of stolen pokeman cards. After a while of trading them when I was younger the teacher forbid it.I had just bought a 100 pack shiny cards and was going to trade them and the teacher confiscated them.Rip my muny and cards.
