in-game "/ignore" and "/ignorelist" commands
Most likely this has been suggested before since this script exist, (i don't have access to forum search).

[REL] New Ignore Script! (Author: Blam) <- details; and better descriptions of needs and reasons, there.

  • "/ignore <name>" as a toggle command, unignoring <name> the second time if used as same argument.
  • "/ignorelist" shows currently ignored users
  • It would (should) block room chat, private messages and em/emote coming from the ignored user

The drawback of this script seems to be it needing a separate auto-loader script, unless manually loaded; and whether or not it covers pm's and em's. (and having to *google* this forum, just to find it's magnificene ).

You, and seemingly a lot of others. Even the admins and moderators would benefit i guess; since it would leave out a huge heap of, then unnecessary reports.

Nothing really wrong with it. But it just seems not very much needed since there is a script for it like you said
I like this idea and maybe it could be like the ban thing /ban add (username) /ban del (username) and /ban list but with ignore instead of ban

We need this. I like to have movememory or belts as my mod. I cant currently have 2 mods running at once, so im fucked. If it was in game, that would help BIG time

Fully support this idea.
There's need to be someone roasting in a bet server or in a tourney that you wan't to kill him with a chainsaw and the Operator can't ban him.
Running away...
I think an in game ignore feature should be prioritized, got benefits for both players and the Toribash team. It's irritating to see players entering just to leave when the chat is dominated by a couple fighting amongst themselves; leaving the remaing "normal players stuck with 2-3 hotheads filling the chat with meaningless crap, and having to use google (since there is no forum search out of the box) to find a way to stop such noise.

And imagine how much it would cut down unnecessary reporting..."/ignore FlamingTrollerPlayer", and it's gone.

Though, i don't think it should transfer to the forums, because then the offender got ONE last chance making apology before the other player chooses to ignore all communication trough toribash; or squaring up, and recieving no more of it (hopefully, and the best outcome).
