Piercings are different it's more of a fashion choice which i personally don't like unless it's on the ears or lip, but what do i have to judge.

no much for body mods myself but i do enjoy tattoos, i'd probs get one if i wasn't a huge pansy.

i think tattoos and body mods are a good way to express yourself, for good or worse

Tattoos aren't as bad, and are a lot more private than gauges. Honestly, provided you don't make yourself physically revolting to everyone around you, you're fine. Professional appearance is important. If people don't trust you because you look like a retard, they will likely take their business elsewhere.

It's really important to keep up your appearance, along with personal hygiene and other things. If your taxi driver hasn't showered in a month and has gauges big enough to fit your hand through, chances are he isn't going to get much business.

As far as other body modifications go though, if I could replace my arms with bazooka shooting chainsaws, I totally would.
