same as lucian, the colour thing was the first thing to came to mind.
youve muted the colours and gone for a black/grey base shadow, which are both big no-no's. its an extension of impressionism, so no blacks or greys. instead you just use a colour explosion for everything, using simple contrast to create depth.
just keep in mind that at its core, fauvism gives zero fucks about conventional fine art and you should be good.
your mapping still concerns me, face looks quite wide and the eyes are dead centre on the canvas, so the jaw is going to stretch down a bit towards teh bottom of the sphere.
on a side note, fauvism is one of my least favorite styles, which is weird since francoise nielly is my favorite artist, go figure, right?
