Even after graphic card update, fonts are messed up
As i wrote in the topic, i downloaded drivers, installed them and... Yes, it didn't help :| Yes, i tried turning pc off and on. Yes, i tried reinstalling the game. Nope, none of this worked. plz to halp Any ideas what else can i do?
Fonts are still messed up, so i have no damn idea what is wrote there. I mean - this is the case which was in FAQ(in theory updating drivers should help), and following by that algorythm - i'm making a new thread.
Any help will be helpfull and welcomed.
What do you mean check your card? Check what? I know it's display card(probbably). That's why i tried to update the drivers. And that's why I'm writting here. Because it didn't work.
Ah, not this again.

Navigate to fonts in your Toribash folder.
Make sure all the fonts that should be there are there.

If not.
Ask a friend to send the font(s) that are not there to you.
Then place them in your font folder.

This may fix the problem.
Unfortunately it didn't help. None of them was missing, and i tried replacing them all. Maybe it's the graphic card. I don't know.
Does someone have some other idea?
What graphics hardware are we talking about? Make/model? Also is it a laptop or desktop?

Toribash can not require, you as user to have installed fonts that are not readily available trough either it's install or before (standard fonts).

What operating system do you use? Any fonts required will never display halfway or "scrambled" even if they are not existing, since fonts are from vector descriptive data or bitmap picture; or unless there is graphics problem
  1. What operating system?
  2. What graphics/display card device (model and vendor)?
  3. What vendor and driver version of that driver?

I rant..But Toribash does not "talk" to your display device directly. That i doubt. Commonly it's either trough DirectX, GL or whatever is used on Mac's

ATI/AMD should deliver compliant device drivers by now. But drivers can do messy things trying filter or AA stuff...Attempting to improve delivered orders, but those can usually be set, or disabled, per-application.

I refuse to see anyone believing "do a reinstall" as fix, it's like shooting crickets with a cannon, leaving everyone clueless to what is actually wrong. Causing the issue to reappear, again and again, for everyone. "Reinstall" have no part in bug reporting. I tear my hair off seeing that as tried or given advice

K. It's not actually using the Radeon for TB, it'll be using whatever piece of shit GPU is hidden in your CPU.

Pop open Catalyst and dig out the part where you can tell it which GPU to use for different things. Set it to use the Radeon for everything & also make a profile thingy for TB and tell it to use it there as well.
Why tell it twice? Because AMD/ATI make shite drivers and it'll ignore what you've told it to do sometime. -_- The more you tell it the less likely it is to ignore you.

Anyway, that's the issue, and how to solve it. It's basically the same as Nvidia's Optimus, except half assed like everything AMD do.
