Jobs you did or are still doing
Title says it all, basically I want to know if anyone here has or had a job.
Holiday jobs count too.

For me, I'm working at a gas station when I have time. I am concentrating on my education at the moment.
I'm only cleaning here..
Worked in kitchens a lot, was most recently an under chef at a place in Norway, between jobs rn because uni and shit.

I'm currently doing a masters in civil engineering, could I ask how architectural technician correlates? Sounds like a physics based architect

nah, nothing like that. its just the professional term for it.

in a bigger firm, id be the technician behind an actual architect.
architect designs a house, then the senior arch tech and arch tech work out how to draw it technically etc
then handing it down to the draughtsmen to do the grunt work.

but practically, i work in a 3 man office, i dont go through all that bs, so its just a qualification on a piece of paper, a term that gives you access to your registration number and limits what you can and cannot do.
an architectural technician i think is limited up to 3 stories and 600m2 floorplans.

architectural technician basically correlates to 3rd year in architecture degree/diploma.
there is an overlay between civil / mechanical engineering in terms of subjects and course work, but nothing really significant.
in the end, regardless of qualification, we'd still need to get an engineers signature on everything that relevant.

it says you were born in '97 though, shouldnt you be 1st year atm?

Yeah just started a few weeks ago, I'm enjoying it a lot so far but it's constant work. I won't be finished for another 5 years and then after that I have another 3 years until I can become chartered.

I guess that depends on if a lot of famous people swam at his pool.
I think I might be retired.
