just a tori and a blue backround with some default font
use some effects or something

Yes, around the tori make it clear (to put something like a neon around would be very cool). And the lyrics try to do something different (abstract)

Its a very simple process to make one if these.
The result of it looks quite cool though.

The borber looks way too thick for me :/

Yeah its really easy to make these guys, my method is
get a fabulous pose (lol)
do /opt timer 0 | /opt uke 0 /Opt hud 0 (more angles)
then apply a shader that acts like a green screen
/ss
then pull it into photoshop (I used paint.net)
magic want the background and edit at will

I like it, might try it for myself, It's not cluttered with effects like other art in these boards.
