I'd suggest learning how to use velocity switches in sv to control the speed of the clips so that you can properly sync the clip to the song.
Also, you need to work on your freecam, try to keep it at a certain distance from the action so that you can see what is happening at all times. If you mess up, shift-k clears the keyframes so you can start over.
The music plays a large part in the creation of the video and influences how it's going to be made (Sync, shaders and so on) so I really, really recommend that you find a song you like before you start making a video and then start with how the song feels to you as a basis on how you build your video.
