anonymous targeting isis
so anonymous posted a youtube video today saying they're gonna be targeting isis in revenge for paris

they said: "Expect massive cyber attacks. War is declared. Get prepared.”

it only took 3 hours for them to close down 1800 isis accounts, which i guess means they'll be shutting down their propaganda & reducing amount of people being brainwashed

opinions?

sorry do you expect anonymous to hack their brains and stop them killing

despite your delusions that's not going to happen, air strikes etc could cause a war (i think france already bombed them anyway)

what is it doing? it's getting rid of their propaganda, meaning that it's harder to convert people to isis so they'll have a harder time recruiting

oh oh i'm sorry i didn't realize you weren't capable of having civilized discussions, i won't bother posting beyond this. my only point was that it doesn't seem to be making any noticeable difference, but then again i'm just an 8 year old child who sits on the computer all day, so what would i know. i'm free to be wrong.

I don't think you understand the significance of propaganda, at all really.

While anonymous cannot make any direct actions towards isis' members, they are shutting down recruitment websites, closing accounts, etc. The least you could be is grateful.

Politicians spend thousands of dollars on their campaigns alone, companies pay youtubers stupid amounts of money to play their game so it gets well known, hell you would probably not even know which movie was out if it wasn't for their trailers or commercials.

Now imagine that all of that was taken away, that is what anonymous is trying to do. You can't just assume anonymous will take up arms and just head to syria shooting everyone. They're hackers, of course they will not be able to stop people already brainwashed.

they should have been doing this from the start rather than waiting for a bunch of people to die so they look justified...

To be honest they aren't really forced to do any of it really, they are kind of like 4chan in which they'll help if they want but have no obligation to do so.

They even had something called "operation titstorm". You can't really rely on them whenever we need help lol


I agree on your points about politicians being cowards however, for it to get to this point someone has to take responsibility but none of these politicians will.

They arent god, it took 3 hours to close 1.8k accounts. imagine what they can do in a week or a month
